He began his musical studies in Percussion Instruments at the “N. Piccinni” Conservatory of Bari, graduating with honors in 1996 with M ° Forestiere. From the same year he is an ordinary student at the Universität für Musik Mozarteum Salzburg, a pupil of M ° Peter Sadlo, where in October 2003 he obtained, with honors, the title of Magister and in 2005 the Post degree. He is the protagonist of an intense solo concert activity and in chamber and orchestra formations, which leads him to play, among others, in Italy, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, France, United States, Hungary, Czech Republic, Bulgaria , China, Thailand, Slovakia. He made his debut at the Gasteig in Munich with a solo recital in 2008. In 1999 he came into contact with M ° HW Henze performing the chamber opera El Cimarrón in Austria and Germany in the cities of Salzburg (Salzburger Festspieleröffnung, Festival Aspekte ), Tübingen (Kammeroper), Hallein (Junge Kultur), Hamburg (NDR), Nuremberg (Theater Nürnberg). He has performed several works by numerous composers, including Stefano Taglietti, Stefan Hakenberg, Agustín Castilla-Ávila, S.E. Panzer, and Balz Trümpy, Vito Palumbo, Jack Fortner, Luca Lombardi, performing their compositions at the Sassari Civic Theater, the Costanza Opera House, the Sommertheater Überlingen, the “Sommer im Altmühltal” Festival in Ingolstadt, the Mozarteum of Salzburg, Romanischer Sommer Köln, Mammut Glyphix Festival in Salzburg, Banska Bystrica’s contemporary music festival in Slovakia, Brückenfestival in Germany, the prestigious Ruhr2010 festival in germany, the Semperoper in Dresden, the GAIDA festival in Vilnius, Acht Brücken Festival in Cologne.

 

He has performed several concerts for marimba and orchestra including the concert n ° 1 for marimba and orchestra of Rosauro in Rome at the hall of the Brazilian embassy following the invitation of the same, in Teramo with the Benedetto Marcello orchestra, in Taranto with the Regional Orchestra of Puglia, in Plovdiv with the Plovdiv Symphony Orchestra. In addition he performed the concert for marimba, guitar and strings dedicated to him and guitarist Christina Schorn by the Italian composer Stefano taglietti in Kiev, Lemberg, Teramo, Prague, Vienna, etc. From 2003 to 2010 he is regularly invited as a percussionist hosted by the RAI National Symphony Orchestra of Turin, in addition he collaborated as a percussionist with the “Mozarteum orchestra” of Salzburg. It was directed by Riccardo Muti, Carlo Maria Giulini, Daniele Gatti, Hubert Soudant, Eliahu Imbal, etc. In 2003 he published the essay “Cello Suites, from Violoncello alla Marimba”, Edizioni Pugliesi – Martina Franca. He recorded as a soloist and with the Cimarron Ensemble for WERGO, Bongionanni of Bologna, Stradivarious, VDMReconds. And a new work has been released for the prestigious WERGO house and dedicated to the composer Svizzaro Balz Trümpy. Since 2005 he teaches Percussion Instruments at the Conservatory of Sassari. He has held master of percussion in many universities in America, Italy, Bulgaria, Austria. Ivan Mancinelli plays exclusive instruments Adams, Ufip and Vic Firth.

Inizia gli studi musicali in Strumenti a Percussione presso il Conservatorio “N. Piccinni” di Bari diplomandosi con lode nel 1996 con il M° Forestiere. Dallo stesso anno è studente ordinario presso l’Universität für Musik Mozarteum Salzburg, allievo del M° Peter Sadlo, dove nell’ottobre 2003 consegue, sempre con lode, il titolo di Magister e nel 2005 il Post grado. E’ protagonista di un’intensa attività concertistica solista ed in formazioni da camera ed orchestrali, che lo porta a suonare, fra le altre, in Italia, Austria, Germania, Svizzera, Spagna, Francia, Stati Uniti, Ungheria, Repubblica Ceca, Bulgaria, Cina, Tailandia, Slovacchia. Ha debuttato al Gasteig di Monaco di Baviera con un recital solistico nel 2008. Nel 1999 è entrato in contatto con il M° H. W. Henze eseguendo l’opera da camera El Cimarrón in Austria e in Germania nelle città di Salisburgo (Salzburger Festspieleröffnung, Festival Aspekte), Tubinga (Kammeroper), Hallein (Junge Kultur), Amburgo (NDR), Norimberga (Theater Nürnberg). Ha eseguito in prima assoluta varie opere di numerosi compositori, tra cui Stefano Taglietti, Stefan Hakenberg, Agustín Castilla-Ávila, S.E. Panzer, e Balz Trümpy,Vito Palumbo, Jack Fortner,  Luca Lombardi, eseguendo le loro composizioni presso il Teatro civico di Sassari, il Teatro dell’opera di Costanza, il Sommertheater Überlingen, il Festival “Sommer im Altmühltal” ad Ingolstadt, il Mozarteum di Salisburgo, la Romanischer Sommer Köln, Il Festival Mammut Glyphix di Salisburgo, Il festival di musica contemporanea di Banska Bystrica in Slovacchia, il Brückenfestival in Germania, il prestigioso festival Ruhr2010 in germania, la Semperoper di Dresda, il GAIDA festival di Vilnius, Acht Brücken Festival di Colonia. Ha eseguito vari concerti per marimba ed orchestra fra cui il concerto n° 1 per marimba ed orchestra di Rosauro a Roma presso la sala dell’ ambasciata brasiliana in seguito ad invito della stessa, a Teramo con l’ orchestra Benedetto Marcello, a Taranto con l’ orchestra Regionale della Puglia, a Plovdiv con l’ orchestra sinfonica di Plovdiv. Ha in oltre eseguito il concerto per marimba, chitarra ed archi dedicato al lui ed alla chitarrista Christina Schorn  dal compositore italiano Stefano taglietti a Kiev, a Lemberg, a Teramo, a Praga, a Vienna, ecc Dal 2003 al 2010 è invitato regolarmente come percussionista ospite dall’Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI di Torino, Ha in oltre collaborato come percussionista con la “Mozarteum orchestra” di Salisburgo. E’ stato diretto da Riccardo Muti, Carlo Maria Giulini, Daniele Gatti, Hubert Soudant, Eliahu Imbal, ecc. Nel 2003 ha pubblicato il saggio “Cello Suites, dal Violoncello alla Marimba”, Edizioni Pugliesi – Martina Franca. Ha registrato come solista e con l’ el Cimarron Ensemble per WERGO, Bongionanni di Bologna, Stradivarious, VDMReconds. E in uscito un nuovo lavoro registrato per la prestigiosa casa WERGO e dedicato al compositore Svizzaro Balz Trümpy. Dal 2005 insegna Strumenti a Percussione presso il conservatorio di Sassari.  Ha tenuto master di percussioni in numerose università in America, Italia, Bulgaria, Austria. Ivan Mancinelli suona in esclusiva strumenti Adams, Ufip  e Vic Firth.
